False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Requirements

These programs commence at NCV level two as well as the minimum amount requirement would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

The moment the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, becoming equivalent to a website Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two which happens to be equivalent to an NQF level two.

On which kind of scholars are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that traditional schooling isn't always the sole means of becoming an artisan or becoming certified so if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is in fact completely suited for that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
